The Park
Hartwell Pocket park is open and all are welcome .
In June 2007, land owned by the Parish Council was set aside for transformation into a Pocket Park. Local funding from Northamptonshire County Council, South Northants Council and Hartwell Parish Council has allowed the development of this field into a park. Hartwell Pocket Park officially opened in June 2009 and is also known as Ashwood Acre . The original planting has grown steadily and the range of wild flowers and wildlife is increasing. It is managed by volunteers from Hartwell and supported by the Parish Council. The park regularly wins national awards.
